FREE Registration (Limited Tickets) - Eventbrite website

Join us for some fun as Central Lake Ontario Conservation kick starts their Celebrate 60 Saturdays with the first of many public events at Conservation Areas during 2018.  Families and friends are welcome to strap on a pair of our snowshoes and compete in our first ever Olympic Snowshoe Challenge at Enniskillen Conservation Area.  Participants will be given directions and instructions to complete our snowshoe course and answer some questions about what they see along the way.  Everyone will have an opportunity to win some great prizes and a chance to stand on the podium for Team Canada.

This event is FREE, however, registration is required as the number of snowshoes are limited. PLEASE NOTE: There are special tickets available for people that have their own snowshoes or do not wish snowshoes.

The event runs from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.  In the case of poor snow conditions, you can explore the trails without snowshoes.
This is a snow or no snow event and parking is FREE.

All participants are asked to dress for the weather with lots of layers and good sturdy footwear.  We will have the woodstove on in the Education Centre so you have a place to warm up after your adventure.  Crafts and light refreshments will be served.   Participants can bring their own snowshoes, toboggans for pulling those with limited mobility, or walking poles.  Sorry, no pets allowed at the event.
