2018 Art Competition - It's My Nature

Central Lake Ontario Conservation (CLOCA) is developing a Conservation Lands Master Plan. The Master Plan will improve management of our conservation areas for future generations and will be completed in 2020. It will have far reaching benefits to the community, improving watershed and human health by enhancing recreation opportunities and protecting local natural resources.

We have a perfect opportunity for watershed youth to get on board with this project and create some art work that showcases any of our conservation areas in Durham Region. We are calling all artists between the ages of 6 and 17 to enter our 2018 “It’s My Nature,” Art Competition. This is your chance to see your original art work featured in CLOCA’s Conservation Lands Master Plan programs and communication products.

Entrants
Grab your paints, brushes, crayons, coloured pencils, paper, glue and glitter! Think about ways that you can illustrate the theme, “It’s My Nature.” We challenge you to create a piece of art that not only presents issues and challenges facing our conservation areas, but also communicates a message that inspires others to act. We encourage you to connect your submission to your own life, your local community, or something else that inspires you when it comes to the natural environment.
